**Job Type:** Full-time, Part-time when specified by the Health Center Director
**Estimated Salary:** $35,000 - $45,000 per year

**Job Description:

Comprehensive Community Action (CCAP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities challenged by poverty and social barriers. Our health centers provide accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Process patients in a timely manner
- Assist providers and patients with medical procedures and testing
- Record patient data and maintain accurate medical records
- Perform routine diagnostic tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose tests
- Prepare patients for examinations and tests
- Properly dispose of medical waste and sharps
- Schedule appointments and confirm insurance eligibility
- Document patient information in electronic medical records
- Clean and stock rooms, and perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bilingual / Bicultural Spanish required at some locations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Triage skills and excellent communication skills for client, provider, and colleague interaction
- Current CPR (BLS) certifications
