Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is committed to delivering exceptional care to youth in a supportive environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients at Youth Opportunity Investments LLC.
About Us:
Youth Opportunity Investments is focused on empowering young individuals with tailored support to foster their success and independence. We believe in building strong foundations for physical and emotional health, positive relationships, and educational growth.
Job Responsibilities:
The LPN will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive health services, including regular medical assessments and daily triage of injuries and illnesses.
- Administering prescribed medications and assisting medical staff as needed.
- Conducting health screenings, including evaluations for height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, and more.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of health care progress and recommendations.
- Conducting injury checks post-incident and providing training on infection control and safety compliance.
- Ensuring the proper management of health supplies and medications.
- Participating in ongoing training to maintain licensure and enhance professional skills.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with pediatric or adolescent care.
- A solid understanding of child and adolescent health issues.
- Specialized knowledge of the psychological and physical needs of youth.
