Position Overview:

The Licensed Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering and coordinating patient care through thorough assessment, strategic planning, effective intervention, and comprehensive evaluation of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the care plan within the framework of the Licensed Registered Nurse curriculum, prioritizing safety and documenting nursing interventions along with patient responses to care. (50%)
  • Assess and evaluate patient responses to nursing care, documenting findings and communicating evaluation results to the healthcare team, contributing to the ongoing refinement of the nursing care plan. (20%)
  • Conduct patient assessments through direct observation and data collection, accurately recording and reporting both objective and subjective data in a timely manner. (10%)
  • Formulate individualized patient care plans tailored to specific needs. (10%)
  • Engage in collaborative teamwork by sharing pertinent information, demonstrating initiative, and supporting departmental decisions and workflows. (5%)
  • Delegate nursing tasks to other qualified nursing professionals within their scope of practice as appropriate. (5%)

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse Degree from an Accredited Institution
  • Current RN License in IDFPR
  • BLS Certification
