Job Summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Dietetic Technician to join our team. As a Dietetic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition screening and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients. You will work under the direction of a Clinical Dietitian to assess patient needs and develop personalized nutrition plans. This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 7a-3:30p and 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Provide nutrition screening and MNT to patients as necessary
Work with Clinical Dietitians to develop and implement nutrition plans
Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care
Document patient care processes in medical records

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field
Completion of a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Program accredited by ACEND
Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR or NDTR) credential
Competent in adult and geriatric nutrition
Basic computer skills
