Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Equiliem Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computer tomography procedures and related techniques to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex CT procedures, utilizing professional judgment to review and obtain patient clinical history.
  • Prepare, screen, and review contrast questionnaires with patients and/or family members, ensuring accurate documentation and scanning into PACS.
  • Identify and/or administer contrast media related to CT exams as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Verify patient prescriptions to ensure appropriateness of exams and communicate with Radiologists and Referring Physicians as needed.
  • Responsible for calling physicians to clarify prescriptions and verifying insurance authorized exam scripts.
  • Obtain outside studies (CDs) and schedule them in EPIC for comparison by Radiologists.
  • Provide exam copies to patients and requesting physicians/family members.
  • Evaluate radiographs using PACS to ensure proper identification and diagnostic value.
  • Use consistent techniques to gather relevant information from medical records, significant others, and healthcare providers to prepare protocols for scanning and patient safety.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in CT Technologist role.
  • BCLS and ARRT certifications.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends, with overtime as needed.
  • On-call assignments as needed per Department of Radiology policy.
