**Job Title:** Substitute Registered Nurse

**Job Summary:** The Laredo Independent School District is seeking a Substitute Registered Nurse to provide direct healthcare to students and support the implementation of a comprehensive program of health services for our campus.

**About the Role:** This is a substitute position, working on an as-needed basis. You will be responsible for supporting the Coordinator of Health Services/Principal in providing direct healthcare to students, leading health services and screenings, promoting health and wellness, and serving as a liaison between school personnel, families, and healthcare providers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide direct healthcare to students.
  • Lead health services and screenings.
  • Promote health and wellness.
  • Serve as a liaison between school personnel, families, and healthcare providers.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree from an accredited professional nursing education program.
  • Valid registered nurse (RN) license to practice professional nursing in Texas issued by the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • CPR Certification.
  • One year experience as a registered nurse.

**Salary:** $172.48 daily rate.

**Work Environment:** The Substitute Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced educational setting, providing direct healthcare to students and supporting the implementation of health services for our campus.
