Job Title: Express Lube Technician

Come be a part of our team at Jenkins Chevrolet of Venice

We are currently hiring Express Lube Technicians to perform oil changes, rotate and balance tires, resurface rotors, flush fluids, replace filters, and more.

Previous auto mechanical or service department experience is a plus, but we will train you.

We welcome technicians from other brands and industries, such as Firestone, Valvoline, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube, Midas, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform multi-point inspections of vehicles, including fluids, battery, belts, tires, and more.
  • Change or top off all fluids, grease bearings, check and change oil filters.
  • Change, mount, and balance tires.
  • Repair and replace tires.
  • Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
  • Maintain dealership records and provide recommendations to customers regarding their vehicles.
  • Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology.
  • Responsible for keeping the shop area neat and clean.
Qualifications:
  • Auto repair experience/training and/or basic auto equipment knowledge preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Good work ethic.
