Body Shop Foreman

Krause Auto Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Foreman / Lead Tech to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our body shop department.

This is a full-time, salaried position in the auto industry, with a pay rate of $30 per hour and biweekly pay.

• Manage and lead a team of body shop technicians, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and schedule repairs and body work for all vehicles, ensuring all work is completed within established timelines.
• Oversee work quality to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards.
• Keep accurate inventory records and order necessary supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all company and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor and track productivity and efficiency of the body shop department.
• Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts for repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training in automotive repair preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a body shop or collision repair setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in vehicle body repair and restoration.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders, estimate repair costs, and create work schedules.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of various industry-specific software.
