Job Description

Job Summary:

The Site Coordinator will be responsible for the overall program management and partnership development at a specific school site(s). This role will utilize the CIS Model to identify and assess the needs of at-risk youth, while coordinating Tiered interventions and supports to the whole school population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Implementation: Coordinate the successful implementation of the CIS Model and TQS Student Support Standards.
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with school staff to assess, identify, and prioritize student needs.
  • Program Management: Coordinate and lead a School Support team, responsible for planning and managing all CIS operations at the school site.
  • Needs Assessment and Planning: Conduct an annual needs assessment using multiple sources of data, to be used as the foundation for the School Support Plan.
  • Program Development: Develop a comprehensive School Support Plan, noting Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions and supports.
  • Case Management: Provide overall case management to a minimum of 50 identified students and deliver evidence-based interventions and supports, based on student and school needs.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Regularly and systematically collect, enter, and report student data.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly, at least quarterly, monitor and adjust the progress toward meeting goals in the School Support Plan, and the progress of individual students, and adjust Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions and supports as needed.
  • Community Engagement: Connect with the parent or legal guardian of identified case-managed students.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide timely reports with data and program information to direct supervisors.
  • Student Goal Setting: Monthly review ABC goals with case-managed students.
  • Community Outreach: Present the CIS mission, vision, and initiatives within the community as needed.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage community volunteers as needed.
  • Community Partner Evaluation: Continuously (at least annually) evaluate community partners to ensure they align with student needs.
  • Resource Development: Provide leadership, as requested, in securing community resources and partners beneficial in improving students' physical and academic needs.
  • Professional Development: Participate in personal and professional staff development, including CISSC and National CIS training.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties necessary for the successful operation of programs as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, social services, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of applicable work experience.
  • Driver's License: Valid South Carolina driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Skills: Demonstrated passion and commitment to students, families, and the community; understanding of school cultures and trends; excellent verbal and written communication skills; public speaking and presentation skills; strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, completing assignments in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner; ability to perform required project tasks independently and in a team atmosphere; ability to work across teams and with multiple supervisors, both on and off-site.
