We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient computing environments for our classified programs.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity, including the integration of hardware and operating systems.
- Install and configure hardware and operating systems to meet the needs of our programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years of directly related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Linux experience and experience in one of the following: VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 certification or higher.
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
- In-depth working experience in Windows Server.
- Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
- Experience with using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
- Experience with Enterprise Active Directory (AD) & LDAP.
- Scripting Experience.
