We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radar Processing Engineer to join our Intelligence and Cyber Analytics Special Programs team at KBR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to complex radar systems problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced estimation, detection, tracking, and classification techniques to develop cutting-edge solutions in the radar systems domain
  • Design and implement new estimation-theoretic algorithms in software (MATLAB, Python) to meet customer requirements
  • Enhance and extend existing code bases to process data from new sensor systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Prepare and present technical briefings to current and prospective customers, effectively communicating complex ideas and solutions
  • Work collaboratively with a flexible schedule and be willing to travel to accommodate customer priorities, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Active TOP SECRET Security Clearance
  • Master's degree and at least five years' experience, or PhD degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics
  • Programming experience in MATLAB & Python, with a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of and experience with radar systems and processing, including estimation and detection theory
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers to convey results of work and develop new projects, with a strong customer-centric approach
