Clinical Pharmacist Staff LOM-Variable

UCI Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will assist the Clinical Coordinator with data collection, disease state clinical program intervention, and education. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring patient safety through medication reconciliation, drug utilization evaluations, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice, including pharmacy operations
- Licensure by the California State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacist
- Continuing education in pharmacy and contact with relevant literature
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications
We also welcome applicants with experience in automated dispensing cabinets, unit dose, IV Admixtures, pharmaceutical care, and performance improvement. Board Certification of Pharmacy Specialty and knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms are also desirable.
