Pharmacy Technician I LOM-PT-Variable

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician participates in pharmaceutical care by assisting the pharmacist in drug preparation, drug distribution, purchasing and inventory control, drug packaging, and drug delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Conduct inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process and manage patient prescriptions
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the California State Board of Pharmacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
