About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to manage and oversee a variety of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Resource Management: Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and in-house accountants.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Project Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments for project activities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Proven ability to solve problems creatively, strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices, experience seeing projects through the full life cycle, excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
