**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at the Claremont Optical Fiber Manufacturing plant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Claremont Optical Fiber Manufacturing plant in maintaining optimal production levels and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in the areas of facilities management, including HVAC, chillers, air compressors, process water systems, and high-purity gas delivery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve daily issues and improve overall plant efficiency.
  • Develop and implement equipment reliability projects to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience in fiber optic manufacturing, chiller maintenance, pollution control equipment, compressor maintenance, high-purity piping, and gas delivery systems.
