Job Title: Healthcare Credentialing Specialist

Dean Dorton Healthcare Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to join our Healthcare Consulting team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete physician credentialing applications and revalidations for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
  • Track status of applications and follow up with payers throughout the credentialing process to ensure optimal timely enrollment.
  • Track issues related to credentialing, including quick resolution and updates to the client.
  • Initiate contracts with payers, with new physician practice setups.
  • Track and maintain appropriate licensure, certificates, insurance, and DEA certificates for providers, as well as update information in Intellisoft and CAQH.
  • Review and research upcoming changes in credentialing requirements.
  • Report on provider enrollment, and update the provider, practice manager, and billing department immediately to ensure quick claim payments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' experience in credentialing different provider types.
  • Experience with credentialing in multiple states and experience using the Intellisoft database.
  • Experience in EFT setup with various payers.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, following all HIPAA policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high attention to detail and have excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Work independently, taking initiative on a variety of tasks and projects.
