Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Goshen Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for administering a full range of respiratory therapy treatments and modalities, monitoring life support devices, and performing selected cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing as prescribed by the attending physician.

Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and modalities, including ventilator and NIV management, pulmonary medication delivery, and arterial blood gas draws/analysis.
  • Monitor life support devices and perform selected cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing as prescribed by the attending physician.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide critical and acute care services.
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees and contribute to the education and professional development of the department staff.
  • Document patient treatment data in department records and maintain confidentiality of all data, procedures, records, forms, reports, and sensitive information regarding a patient's medical condition or treatment.
Requirements
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed by the State of Indiana Health Professional Bureau to perform respiratory therapy duties.
  • Certifications Required: ACLS/BLS, PALS, NRP RRT.
