Job Summary

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in clients of various ages and backgrounds. You will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to support progress and ensure continuity of care.
  • Document and track client progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech pathology.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid California State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and other relevant software.
