Bermuda Village Retirement Community Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Bermuda Village Retirement Community. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our community, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow a cleaning schedule and instructions to maintain assigned areas, including residential homes and public spaces
  • Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas, including hallways, stairways, and elevators
  • Clean and polish room furnishings, fixtures, and ledges in resident rooms and public areas
  • Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing
  • Empty trash in offices and public areas, and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the supervisor
Requirements:
  • One year of related experience in a similar environment, with on-the-job training preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations and work responsibly as a team member
  • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
  • Ability to meet all health requirements and pass a criminal background check

Working Conditions:
