Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Process Improvements: Develop and implement process improvements to optimize our distribution centers' efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facility Design and Layout: Design and optimize facility layouts to improve workflow and spatial utilization.
- Work Measurement and Labor Standards: Establish work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop labor standards for our distribution centers.
- Process Optimization: Analyze data and research activities to recommend business process improvements and create detailed implementation plans.
- Project Management: Manage various process improvement projects and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Identify and champion improvement opportunities in safety, productivity, cost savings, and quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our distribution center leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using AutoCAD, Enterprise Resource Planning, Warehouse Management System, and Transportation Management System.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting and Standing: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for long periods of time.
- Computer Use: Frequent use of keyboard and monitor.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is starting from $74,500.00.
