Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of our children.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state licensing codes and NAEYC standards.
  • Assume responsibility for the classroom and provide guidance to children aged 0-30 months.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver activities that promote learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development through observations, assessments, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding of children's needs.
  • Model positive behavior and language for children and employees alike.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 24 units in child development and 3 Infant/Toddler units (or equivalent experience).
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Current immunization shots (including MMR, Tdap, TB test, Influenza Shot or waiver).
  • Up-to-date training set forth by the Community Care Licensing division of the Department of Social Services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of child development theory and current early childhood practices.
