Job Title: Adjunct Music Educator (Woodwind and Brass Instruments)

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Music Educator to join our team at the University of North Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching woodwind and/or brass instruments to students in our music education program.

Job Summary:

The Adjunct Music Educator will be responsible for teaching woodwind and/or brass instruments to students in our music education program. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in music education or a related field, and have experience teaching woodwind and/or brass instruments.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach woodwind and/or brass instruments to students in our music education program
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop curriculum and improve teaching methods
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in music education or a related field
  • Experience teaching woodwind and/or brass instruments
  • Strong pedagogical knowledge of all woodwind and/or brass instruments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree in music education or a related field
Work Schedule:

Varies based on assignment
