Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Gainesville, GA.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer Intern will participate in a program in mining planning and design, providing students with work experience relevant to their major and complementing their education.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in summer projects of varying scope and size, working with industry experts to gain hands-on experience.
  • Contribute to mine planning, operations optimization, quality control, sales, maintenance, safety, and other aspects of quarry and sand & gravel operations.
  • Evaluate production equipment and mine layout to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors working toward a BS in Mining, Geological, or Civil Engineering.
