Carpenter Co. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Elkhart manufacturing branch. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing orders, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers, traffic managers, plant managers, and department managers to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
- Process and confirm orders, update load schedules, and provide updates to the docks.
- Collaborate with production and shipping teams to manage customer requests and changes.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer phone calls, and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related customer service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows.
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment and maintain excellent organization, planning, and customer service skills.
