About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled State Director to lead our operations in New Jersey. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall administration and growth of our services in the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and expansion of our services in New Jersey
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our programs and services in the state
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local, state, and federal government agencies, advocacy groups, and community partners
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • Lead and manage a team of senior managers and staff to achieve organizational goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field, such as psychology, counseling, or social work
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in the human services industry, with a focus on developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities
  • Proven track record of success in managing day programs, supported living, and residential programs
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting, with a focus on P&L management
  • Previous experience working with the state of New Jersey systems and/or with New Jersey DD Waiver services
