Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing quality clinical care activities for pediatric patients (birth to 21) within the scope of practice as defined by the state of Florida and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication and swallowing disorders.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology.
- Certification as a SLP by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) within 12 months of employment.
- Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of Florida.
- Excellent command of the English Language.
