Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Scout Exchange. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nutrition care services to patients in acute care settings.

About the Job:

This is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. You will work as part of a dynamic team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop personalized meal plans and provide education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition management, and disease prevention.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • At least one year of experience working in an acute care setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
