Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Bidding: Perform thorough reviews of construction plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare estimates for Tilt Wall and Flatwork projects.
  • Construction Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of Tilt Wall construction, including its processes and requirements.
  • Estimation Software: Utilize takeoff software and MS Office products to create accurate estimates.
  • Material and Equipment Procurement: Obtain quotes from suppliers for materials and equipment needed for projects.
  • Bid Preparation and Submission: Prepare and submit concrete bids to clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Client and Vendor Communication: Collaborate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates, resolve issues, and ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of workers involved in projects.
  • Teamwork and Negotiation: Demonstrate strong relationships and teamwork skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Technical Skills: Be detail-oriented, with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information, and possess strong prioritization skills.
  • Preconstruction and Bid Process Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of the preconstruction processes and the bid process.
  • Microsoft Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft software programs, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience and Education: Possess 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
