Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all serving materials are clean and prepared for daily operations.
  2. Maintain awareness of the layout of the dining area, including the positioning of each guest's chair.
  3. Prepare the service area with necessary items such as plates, flatware, and linens for food delivery.
  4. Organize and match plates with corresponding tickets for efficient food service.
  5. Set tables according to Troon Golf standards, ensuring a polished presentation.
  6. Verify that each menu item is prepared accurately as per the specifications on the ticket.
  7. Consult with the kitchen staff to rectify any discrepancies in food preparation before serving.
  8. Refill water glasses and clear unused place settings promptly.
  9. Clear dishes from the table as guests finish their courses.
  10. Reset tables after guests depart, including changing tablecloths and replacing silverware and glassware.
  11. Assist servers as needed to enhance the dining experience.
  12. Maintain well-stocked workstations with necessary items and ingredients.
  13. Ensure cleanliness of work areas, including trash disposal and vacuuming the dining room.
  14. Adhere to safe work practices throughout job performance.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least one month of relevant experience or training in a similar role.

Other Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.
