As a Process Automation Engineer II at ADM, you will play a critical role in providing plant support of process automation systems through guidance, troubleshooting, and standard work. Your expertise will be essential in executing projects and identifying opportunities for process automation to mitigate risk, improve efficiency, and drive optimization projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, improve, and maintain production processes, equipment, operations, and safety interlocks.
- Develop and modify Process Automation controls and troubleshoot systems to identify and resolve hardware or software deficiencies.
- Create and maintain documentation of process automation hardware and software related to process automation control systems.
- Communicate status updates and make suggestions for improvements to processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Two years of related work experience.
- One year of experience with process control in an industrial environment, troubleshooting, solving, and repairing issues with process control systems, and working safely with and around AC & DC voltages up to 120V.
- Knowledge/experience with distributed control systems, industrial IO platforms, industrial networks, industrial process control, and data historian.
Up to 5% domestic travel required. A dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
