Job Overview

Dodge Riverside Golf Course is in search of dedicated Outside Service Attendants to support our operations throughout the golf season.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare and maintain golf carts while delivering exceptional customer service to our members and their guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Preparing golf carts for daily use.
  2. Ensuring carts are stocked and maintained before and after each round.
  3. Providing assistance to various departments as needed.
  4. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the golf cart storage area.
  5. Ensuring the cart staging, storage, and bag room areas are tidy and well-organized.
  6. Exhibiting a commitment to the club's success by being service-oriented and engaging positively with all staff and guests.
  7. Completing additional tasks as directed by management.
  8. Maintaining regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves exposure to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including potential exposure to inclement weather and equipment movement.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are essential for this position:

  1. Ability to operate golf carts safely.
  2. Effective verbal communication skills with members.
  3. Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Familiarity with golf is preferred.
  2. Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
  3. Must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Visual and auditory abilities: reading documents, answering phones, and communicating in person.
  • Standing and walking: 50-75% of the time.
  • Physical activities: climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity: using phones, typing, writing, and driving.
  • Ability to lift items over 25 pounds occasionally.
