Claims Cobol Developer
Responsibilities:
Ascendion is seeking a Cobol Developer to enhance the pre-adjudication process on the Amysis platform. This position involves modifying claims data to facilitate the pre-adjudication workflow.
Essential Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in claims processing
- Over 7 years of proficiency in Cobol
- Familiarity with Amysis (Facets experience is a plus)
- Strong background in HP-UX
- Significant experience in the healthcare sector
Work Arrangement:
Remote
Compensation:
The salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 annually. Factors influencing pay within this range may include geographic location, skill set, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

The Company provides the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility criteria: medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; long-term and short-term disability insurance; 5 personal days accrued each calendar year; compliance with paid sick and safe time laws; 10-15 days of paid vacation; 6 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year; access to the Ascendion Learning Management System.
