Job Summary

Nemean Solutions is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures for drainage and water systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair pipes and drains to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems to prevent leaks and other faults.
  • Install and repair water supply piping systems to meet the needs of our facilities.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment to fit valves, couplings, and components for tanks, pumps, and other plumbing systems.
  • Immerse pipes in chemical solutions to remove oil, dirt, and scale.
  • Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and initiate repairs.
  • Maintain the buildings' water and sanitation systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Install plumbing systems such as sinks, toilets, and install supports and hangers for plumbing fixtures and pipes.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures to perform repair or replacement of damaged components.
  • Oversee the selection and procurement of materials required for a plumbing installation/repair.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job tasks due to exposure to hazards common to plumbing and facility maintenance work.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Security Clearance: All Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities must meet federal government security clearance standards.
  • Education/Experience: REQUIRED:
    • Knowledge of acceptable maintenance procedures and understanding of occupational safety and health regulations.
    • Attention to small details and highly organized.
    • Maintain facilities and keep them in above-average condition.
    • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record to drive at the job site.
    • Florida Plumbers license/certifications must be maintained.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with complex systems and/or the industrial sector.
    • Candidate must pass a drug test.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented and highly safety-conscious.
  • PREFERRED:
    • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
    • Experience working in a government facility.
