Job Summary
The Plumber/Steampipe Fitter is a skilled professional responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities' plumbing systems. This role involves inspecting and repairing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures related to heating, water, gas, and drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and repair pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to ensure proper function and safety.
- Operate, maintain, and repair medical air and suction systems, medical gases, including distribution, piping, and terminal connections.
- Maintain and repair heating and cooling hydronic systems.
Requirements:
- High School Grad or Equivalent required.
- Journeyman Plumbing licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Four years of relevant experience or 240 hours of vocational training in a related field.
