Key Responsibilities: The selected individual will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient Rheumatology services. In addition to delivering exceptional patient care, the candidate will have the opportunity to educate medical students, residents, and fellows in our accredited fellowship program. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and research activities is encouraged and supported.
The Division of Rheumatology is dedicated to fostering professional growth and personal development for all faculty members. There is potential for grant funding to support individual career interests within the Division.
In alignment with our mission to enhance rheumatology access for underserved populations, eligible candidates may have the chance to serve in various locations beyond the primary practice area, utilizing a combination of in-person and telemedicine approaches to meet community needs.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree (or equivalent) and be eligible for state medical licensure. Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and a rheumatology fellowship is required, along with board eligibility or certification in rheumatology. All qualifications must be fulfilled prior to appointment.
