Job Summary

Creston Dental & Braces, a Benevis company, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Patient Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and parents, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits
  • Deliver compassionate care to every patient
  • Greet parents and patients when they enter or leave the office
  • Check in for daily appointments and ensure parents are informed of progress
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk
  • Verify patient information and update records as needed
  • Coordinate with Ortho Financial Coordinator and Doctors to provide same-day care
  • Assist with meeting financial targets by ensuring schedules are full
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with routing referrals
  • Collect payments and post accordingly in the practice management system
  • Confirm appointments for upcoming days and answer incoming patient calls
  • Ensure patients are compliant with appointments and send necessary communication
  • Participate in local community affairs and events to promote a positive image of the company
  • Perform to the highest integrity by adhering to government regulations and company standards
Requirements:
  • At least one year of customer service experience (preferably in healthcare, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry)
  • Willingness to travel in assigned territory
  • High focus on customer service and satisfaction
  • Compassion and high level of service for patients, parents, and staff
  • Integrity, dependability, and reliability
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize work
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
  • Telephone skills: proper etiquette and information gathering
