The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) invites applications for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position at UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson. The estimated annual salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000, with opportunities for advancement and a competitive benefits package designed to support both professional and personal well-being.

The CRNA will provide anesthetic care for all patients in cooperation with the supervising physician, following Department of Anesthesiology standards and hospital policies. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia, monitoring patients' reactions to sedatives and anesthetic agents, and informing the anesthesiologist of any adverse conditions that may threaten patient safety. Additional responsibilities include assuming responsibility and accountability for controlled substances according to department and hospital policy and State and federal guidelines, assisting with the teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs, and participating in the Quality Improvement (QI) process through documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation.
