CDL Training Specialist Job Description

Western Texas College is seeking a highly skilled CDL Training Specialist to join our team. As a CDL Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for commercial driver's license (CDL) students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for CDL students
  • Develop and maintain curriculum to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in a classroom and behind-the-wheel setting
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve performance
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive learning experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. education, transportation, or a related field)
  • Valid CDL license and a clean driving record
  • Experience in teaching or training in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
