About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join our team at the American Heart Association. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and event planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and donors
  • Plan and execute events, including the Go Red for Women Luncheon
  • Recruit and manage volunteer leadership and committees
  • Develop and present proposals to secure revenue and volunteer engagement
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field
  • Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Preferred: university degree or equivalent experience, experience handling high-level leaders, knowledge of corporate and community networks
