Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns and trends, and develop data quality metrics and reports.
  • Perform data wrangling to clean, transform, and enrich data from various sources, and utilize MS Excel, BigQuery, and other visualization tools to create clear and actionable data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data-driven insights, and conduct regular data quality assessments and implement improvements.
  • Create and manage data quality health scores using tools such as Collibra Data Quality, and document data quality processes and standards.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and work with IT to resolve them, and stay up-to-date with data governance and data quality best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Retail Industry, and experience with SQL and database management.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices, and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with Collibra Data Quality or similar tools, and certification in data governance or data quality.

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in data governance or data quality, and experience with data governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations, and familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.

Generic Managerial Skills:

  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills, and good team player who is self-motivated and well-organized.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work with remote teams.
  • Ability to manage project scope, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
