About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineering Manager to lead our facilities engineering team at our Marcy, NY facility. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of our systems, processes, and capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineering system owners across all disciplines (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, gas/chemical, water/wastewater) in fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
  • Oversee all facilities capital and capacity project execution, developing technical competency within the facilities department to manage all project disciplines.
  • Establish benchmarking programs to study and implement industry best practices.
  • Manage the organization to develop and utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) to measure and improve performance.
  • Develop resource requirements to optimize facilities resource allocation and equipment.
  • Own all control system infrastructure and protocols, implementing best-known change control and cybersecurity methods, including OT network, SQL database, and application servers, data analytics, and Ignition developers.
  • Partner with Maintenance and Operations to identify, coordinate, and execute planned and unplanned maintenance across site, mitigating risk points and ensuring continuous in-spec operation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of facilities leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated history of using 8D/RCCA process for incident investigation and response.
  • Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech environment, such as oil and gas, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals (cleanroom, central plant, process cooling/vacuum/gas/chemical).
  • Experience working in a multi-location, global enterprise.
  • Experience establishing talent pipelines with local organizations and institutions.
  • Exudes a deep level of knowledge of industrial facilities operations and best practices.
  • Has knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) operations, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
