Reverse Engineer and Malware Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reverse Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a reverse engineer, you will play a critical role in conducting examinations and analysis of emerging nefarious technologies and previously unknown malicious exploits.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a malware analyst and reverse engineer to work alongside colleagues and clients united in their efforts to ensure our nation's security. You will have access to industry-leading tools and optimized technical environments, allowing you to dive deep and explore the most advanced malware exemplars.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct examinations and analysis of emerging nefarious technologies and previously unknown malicious exploits
  • Work independently or under limited direction or guidance to provide both dynamic and static analysis
  • Utilize industry-leading tools and optimized technical environments to remove obfuscation, decrypt strings, identify command-and-control links, and determine compiler language used to make malware
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure our nation's security
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with functional testing
  • Experience with analyzing malicious code exemplars
  • Experience with software development, including reading assembly code
  • Experience with tools, including Ida Pro, Ghidra, and Olly Debug
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
