Job Summary

AdventHealth Medical Group is a leading healthcare organization associated with the largest Protestant not-for-profit healthcare system in the world. We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology and Hepatology Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients and evaluate and treat injuries or illnesses related to the digestive system, liver functions, and esophagus.
  • Treat patients with various conditions, including but not limited to: Barrett's Esophagus, Colorectal Cancer Screening, Colonoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, ERCP, GERD, IBD, Crohns, Ulcerative Colitis, Liver Disease, and Upper GI Disorders.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory and X-ray tests.
  • Monitor patient treatment and make referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
  • Collaborate with physician supervisors and staff to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
  • Display a caring and professional attitude at all times and maintain personal and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies.
  • Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license.
  • ANCC (or equivalent) or NCCPA certification.
  • Current BLS and ACLS.
