At H&R Block, we're seeking a seasoned Tax Professional to join our team. As a key member of our tax services team, you'll play a vital role in providing expert tax guidance to our clients. With a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field, you'll be responsible for conducting tax interviews, preparing accurate tax returns, and generating business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools
  • Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
  • Provide clients with IRS support
  • Mentor and support teammates
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
  • Experience completing individual returns
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with virtual tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
  • Must complete 10 hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
  • High school diploma / equivalent or higher
