Job Overview

Hope Hospice & Healthcare, Inc. is in search of a committed Full-Time Healthcare Marketing Liaison to enhance our outreach efforts. This role operates Monday through Friday, encompassing approximately 40 hours each week.

Our mission is to deliver the utmost quality of life for our patients and their families through compassionate care, dignity, support, and hope. We take pride in being one of only two hospice agencies in Southern California recognized by CMS (Center of Medicare Services) as a 5-Star Quality Hospice Agency, maintaining this prestigious status for four consecutive quarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure precise and timely documentation of all marketing initiatives for the General Manager as required.
  • Establish, cultivate, and sustain positive relationships with referral sources.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a strategic marketing plan.
  • Organize and deliver educational sessions for the community, referral sources, and healthcare facilities.
  • Exhibit the ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently while meeting the organization’s productivity standards.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and requests for hospice-related information.
  • Facilitate referrals for evaluation and/or admission into the hospice program.
  • Clearly articulate the hospice program to patients, family members, and referral sources in a comprehensive manner.
  • Verify and complete admission and financial details on the referral intake form.
  • Oversee and maintain social media platforms.

Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in healthcare marketing, ideally within hospice care operations.
  • Proven ability to market effectively and engage tactfully with clients and the community.
  • Familiarity with hospice regulations, including Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurance guidelines.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, organizational skills, assertiveness, flexibility, and teamwork in fulfilling job responsibilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of a personal vehicle in good working order and a valid driver's license, along with personal auto liability insurance coverage.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
