Overview:

Dart Container is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead our engineering and maintenance operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee engineering services for the installation, upkeep, and enhancement of machinery and facilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues while developing and documenting performance metrics.
  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance operational reliability.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and develop corrective actions.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and resources to improve maintenance effectiveness.
  • Facilitate training for maintenance personnel on standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure operational continuity.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for machinery and equipment in cross-functional projects.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in engineering and maintenance roles.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in maintenance reliability and project management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and production processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ten years of experience in engineering and maintenance.
  • Experience in managing multi-shift operations.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
