Role Overview

First Student is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team serving New Fairfield Schools, Bethel Public Schools, Easton and Redding Schools, and Weston Schools. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with our vehicles
  • Assist with mobile emergency services as needed

Requirements
  • 5 years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
  • Mechnic's tool set
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
