Hyster-Yale Materials Handling is seeking a skilled embedded control systems engineer with a strong ambition to learn and evolve with our innovation team. This global development center focuses on creating materials handling solutions for today and tomorrow, with current projects emphasizing our state-of-the-art operator assist systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on controls, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Control Theory and Closed Loop controls
  • Proficiency in C and Simulink
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing system models from foundational principles or empirical data
  • Understanding of Signal Processing and Sampling Theory
  • Expertise in Simulink model development
  • Experience in software development for controlling physical devices
  • Familiarity with data communication protocols (e.g., J1939, CAN)
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
  • Proficiency in C or Python programming languages
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion
