Job Summary

Wally's Operating Company LLC is seeking a skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our loss prevention team, you will play a critical role in protecting our assets and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular store surveillance and inspections to identify potential security risks and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise and train assigned team members to ensure they are aware of and adhering to loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Respond to and accurately document loss prevention incidents, including theft and damage.
• Conduct productive merchandise recoveries and provide apprehension support as needed, adhering to LP policies and procedures and LP leadership guidance.
• Analyze trends and develop solutions to address inventory shrink and minimize losses.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all video systems and utilize them effectively to prevent and investigate loss incidents.
• Collaborate with LP leadership to develop and implement shortage action plans to minimize shortage in focus areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a superior guest environment at Wally's.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, adhering to all safety policies and best practices.
• Identify and correct hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Previous retail, guest service, or loss prevention experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to communicate and/or write simple correspondence.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly required to stand/walk for up to 8 hours, frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
