Job Overview

As a key member of the Avance Consulting team, the Senior Systems Architect will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge systems engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Systems Engineering Lifecycle for IMA and Federated computing products/technologies, ensuring timely delivery of systems requirements and integrated validation/verification activities.
  • Develop and execute systems development and verification plans in accordance with GE Aviation processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive engineering reuse and innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams running projects within the product line, supporting project planning, conducting reviews, metrics development/tracking, forecasting, development processes, and risk and opportunity management.
  • Lead/manage interdisciplinary collaboration with software, hardware, test, safety, maintainability, reliability, and certification teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of systems engineering solutions.
  • Escalate issues that require additional engineering or business leadership assistance, utilizing judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements, developing persuasion skills to influence others on topics within the field.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical expertise in systems engineering, with a focus on IMA and Federated computing products/technologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive engineering reuse and innovation.
  • Proven track record of delivering systems engineering solutions on time and within budget, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions, with a focus on driving business results and growth.
